About us

"CFF is unlike any other group I’ve been a part of. It is a community, an experience, a resource, and an education where I know Black children will always be prioritized. CFF has helped me shift my mindset, break out of comfort zones, self-reflect more, engage in important conversations, overhaul my values, and elevate the excellence of Black people."

Our Mission

At Culturally Fluent Families, our mission is to ensure every child feels seen, valued, and empowered. We are dedicated to authentic community engagement and providing education on parenting through the lenses of race, culture, and adoption. By positively affirming the identities and experiences of the children we serve and centering our actions around their needs, we aim to break barriers and bridge cultural gaps. Through active engagement and informed teaching, we empower families to navigate the complexities of race and cultural identity. Together, we shape a more understanding and respectful world, proving that we are indeed better together.
