Brittany Raji Alberty is an award-winning outreach and engagement consultant with over a decade of experience in non-profit and small business campaigns. She helps organizations build revenue-generating relationships online that sell out events, move products, and cultivate engaged communities. Brittany is also the founder of RICH Mamas Club, a thriving community with over 550 members nationwide. She has coached over 100 women business owners across the country. As a proud wife and mother, Brittany believes that community is key to success.Normal text.

About the Event

It's a potluck!
Bring a dish to share with other families.
Hamburgers and hotdogs for the grill will be provided. A playground, basketball court, and pond are nearby for kids to play and explore.

Families, agencies, and community supporters come learn how you can get involved with us!

Lunch will begin at 12pm, and the program will begin at 1pm, featuring keynote speaker Brittany Raji Alberty.

  • How do I help shape their strong positive racial and cultural identity? Through workshops and support groups, you'll learn strategies to reinforce a positive self-image and racial pride in your children.

  • How do I help my child find racial mirrors, role models, and culture guides? The group connects families with mentors, leaders, and peers who reflect the diversity and richness of the Black community, serving as direct links to the culture.

  • How do I connect my kids to their heritage and culture? We provide programs and events that immerse your children in Black culture, helping them connect deeply with their roots.

  • How do I learn to be a more culturally fluent parent?   We offer educational sessions and resources that focus on cultural awareness and sensitivity, empowering you with the knowledge to support your child's identity development effectively.

  • How do I create immersive cultural experiences for my kids? The organization coordinates cultural outings, celebrations, and educational programs that provide firsthand experiences of Black culture.

  • How do I work on my biases and learn to remove barriers that get in the way of parenting a child of a different race? Through open discussions, training on unconscious bias, and community-building activities, you'll be equipped to recognize and dismantle barriers that might impede your child's or your family's growth.

  • Where do I find a group of like-minded committed transracial and multi-racial families? Join Culturally Fluent St. Louis and be part of a community that understands and supports diverse family dynamics, ensuring children are fully seen and valued. This membership helps you learn to parent with confidence through the experiences of race, culture, and adoption.
